Can Orbit AI get things wrong?

Yes, like any AI. That is why answers show the sources and passages they rely on, edits arrive as proposals you review, and you should check every citation before you submit.

Who owns my research?

You do. Your writing stays yours under our terms, and you can export it to PDF, Word or Markdown at any time.

Is my draft public?

No. Drafts are private to you and the people you add. When you go live you choose: public rooms appear in Live rooms, private rooms are joined with a room code.

Can I use OrbitSub for coursework or a thesis?

Check your institution’s rules on AI first, and disclose your use where they ask you to. A published piece keeps a public history of who contributed and when.
